Trackwork on the T3 Bankstown Line
Buses replace trains on the T3 Bankstown Line between some stations from Saturday 23 December 2023 to Thursday 25 January 2024.
Frequent bus services will replace trains during this time, with additional buses at peak times. Train replacement bus services are Opal or contactless payment enabled. You must tap on when boarding a replacement bus and tap off when arriving at your stop.

Saturday 23 to Tuesday 26 December
- Buses replace trains between Lidcombe, Cabramatta and Bankstown.
- For travel between Bankstown and Lidcombe, use replacement bus routes:

New Year’s Eve special event serviceA special New Years Eve train service will run between Liverpool and the City via Regents Park, from 10AM on 31 December 2023 to 6AM 1 January 2024 Buses continue to replace trains on the T3 Bankstown Line between Lidcombe and Sydenham. Customers are advised to catch a rail replacement bus to Lidcombe or Sydenham to connect with trains to the Sydney CBD. |

- Trains run between Liverpool and the City via Regents Park, except for 27 December to 4 January and 13 to 14 January buses also replace trains between Cabramatta and Bankstown.

From 27 December to 25 January, buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Sydenham. Some days, buses also replace trains between Cabramatta and Bankstown.
