Match tickets include travel on public transport, simply show your ticket to staff when boarding services.
Catch frequent light rail services to Moore Park from the City or South East. The Moore Park light rail stop is a short walk across from Allianz Stadium. If you have to drive, expect delays on roads approaching the precinct as traffic will be heavy in the busy Friday evening peak. Carpool with your group and plan to arrive early as parking will be in high demand and will fill quickly. You can find real-time traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
Parking is available near the SCG at the Entertainment Quarter car park, EP3 grass car park on Driver Avenue and Sydney Boys & Girls High car park off Cleveland Street
Valid pre-purchased tickets to Sydney Sixers 2023/2024 season home games at the Sydney Cricket Ground includes travel to and from Moore Park on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:
- Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
- Sydney Metro North West services
- Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan bus services
- Sydney Light Rail services
- Sydney Ferries
Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.
Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.
Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.
Metro services start from the early morning and run every 10 minutes until late. Change at Epping for a train to the city to connect with light rail services to Moore Park.

The closest stations to the SCG are Central and Bondi Junction.
From Central, catch a light rail service to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street. Alternatively, consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway. See our Moore Park walking route map (pdf 435KB) to find your way.
From Bondi Junction, catch one of the many regular route buses from the Interchange to Oxford Street to get within walking distance of the stadium.
Trackwork
Weeknight trackwork is taking place on Friday 22 December on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- T3 Bankstown Line: Buses replace the 12:30am Central to Liverpool service from Sydenham to Liverpool, and the 12:52am Lidcombe to Bankstown service.
- Blue Mountains Line: From 9:50pm, most trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and Blacktown only. Change trains at Blacktown to continue your journey. Trains from Blacktown to Blue Mountains Line stations run up to 30 minutes later than the normal timetable. Bathurst trains continue to run between Bathurst and Central.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line From 9:45pm, most trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only. Change trains at Strathfield to continue your journey.
- South Coast Line: From 9:45pm, trains that normally start and end at Central, platforms 1-12, will instead start and end at Bondi Junction.
Trackwork is carried out on an ongoing basis to maintain the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the Sydney Trains network. A number of regular Sydney Buses service stops along Anzac Parade near the precinct, including routes 339 and 374. From Bondi Junction Interchange, catch routes 333, 352 or 440 to Oxford Street or catch route 355 buses to Lang Road which is within short walking distance of the SCG.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line
L1 Dulwich Hill light rail services run between Central Grand Concourse and Dulwich Hill from 6am to 11pm daily, and until midnight on Fridays. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
From Central, change for a light rail service on the L2 or L3 line to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.
L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily, plan your trip using Trip Planner.
Catch L2 or L3 light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade just south of the Sydney Cricket Ground.

If you have to drive, travel with your group and allow extra time as traffic will be heavier than usual in the area during the busy evening peak. Fans are encouraged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid traffic delays.
Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the SCG from 4:45pm and will reopen once crowds have safely left the area. No through-traffic will be available on Driver Avenue, however access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas will be maintained from Lang Road. EP2 Kippax car par will not be open for this match.
To support the Moore Park Road pop up cycleway, there is no left-turn permitted from Lang Road onto Moore Park Road westbound. Motorists can use Cook Road for access onto Moore Park Road instead.

Moore Park Car Parks
- Entertainment Quarter (parking rates apply): Open 24 hours. Entry via Errol Flynn Boulevard from Lang Road.
- Showground Field (EP3) grass car park (cashless, flat rate parking fees apply): Car Park open from 4:15pm. Entry is via the southern end of Driver Avenue, from Lang Road.
- Sydney Boys High School and Sydney Girls High School (parking fees apply): Car Park open from around 4:15pm. Entry via Cleveland Street. Use the Anzac Parade pedestrian bridge to get to and from the SCG.
Please note, Kippax Park (EP2) grass car park will not be open for this match.

Special Event Clearways
Special event clearways will be in place on roads in Moore Park and surrounding areas from 3pm to midnight on sections of Lang Road, Fitzroy Street, Moore Park Road, Albion Street, Cleveland Street, Flinders Street and Foveaux Street.

Clearways are strict no-parking zones for all vehicle types and apply even to local residents and TfNSW Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies. If your vehicle is towed, you can search your vehicle registration at the Find My Car website to find its new location, or alternatively call 132 701 to speak to an operator.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.
Tickets to BBL Sydney Sixers matches at the SCG include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.
If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.
