Snowy Mountains Bus Service

Let public transport take you to the slopes this ski season

The Snowy Mountains Bus Service will run from Jindabyne to Perisher or Thredbo return every day during ski season from 10 June to 1 October 2023.

It is an affordable and stress-free way to get to and from the ski resorts, running every hour. There is an enhanced service during the peak snow season with services between Jindabyne and Perisher running every 30 minutes, Friday to Sunday.

The service allows Snowy Mountains visitors to avoid driving in poor weather conditions, icy roads or heavy traffic. Return fares include entry into Kosciuszko National Park and each bus has room for gear including skis or a board, and a day backpack^.

For customers with a return bus ticket, there will be free car parking at Station Resort and a free shuttle bus from there to Snowy Region Visitor Centre in Jindabyne. Simply take the shuttle and change at the Snowy Region Visitor Centre to catch your Snowy Mountains bus service. The shuttle will run between Station Resort and Snowy Region Visitor Centre during the peak, and will run hourly between Station Resort and East Jindabyne in the off-peak, via the visitor centre and Tyrolean Village.
